Does any one have Hashimoto's thyroiditis and the MTHFR 677T mutation?

How do you find out which genes are causing you trouble? My Drs uninterested in discussing. I have several autoimmune issues but light, for 25 yes. Miserable and painful, fatigue...Drs all unhelpful. I did get the 23andMe results but can't translate to genetic locations.

Yes, I do. I believe c677t to be underlying in causing autoimmune disease. While there are other mutations that make one more susceptible to thyroid disease, I think mthfr pulls the trigger when methylation isn't working properly.

My sister is heterozygous for MTHFRC677T, and has Hashimoto's thyroiditis.
