  • Anyone used Yasko's ACAT1 support with good results? Just wondering what those results have been?

@BG7169 - Thank you for your information on the "B's". I am MTHFR A1298C Homozygous. Just started L5-MTHFR. Nothing is happening.

Thank you for your replies. Yes, I do need to ask that on the forum - only been on a couple of times, but found navigation tricky!

Re B12/B6 and folic acid - Check out Yasko on this. The specific B12 best for 'you' will depend on genetics and she has a table you can follow. Methylcobalmin and adenosyl are the most active forms, but some may not be suitable for you e.g. I don't do well with methyls according to my genetics and clinical experience. Same for methyl folate or folinic acid (the much better forms of folic acid - which for anyone with MTHFR is a definite no! - check out Ben Lynch). Re B6, people with CBS mutations generally do better with the P5P form - but again, you need to do more research to find what is likely to work best for you.

I use Yasko's all in one, and b complex, but have found that I start to detox too severely even I increase beyond a single tablet, so it's very much a case if finding what's right for the individual.

Yasko's stuff is pretty good quality, but a bit pricey - especially the RNAs. Have you posted this question on her website? They have a very active forum there: http://www.ch3nutrigenomics.com/phpBB3/welcome.html

I have not used it but I think Yasko is a leader in the field of Epigenetics and Nutriceuticals. Do you have any information on quality forms of B12, B6, and Folic Acid supplements?
